WHETSTONE CINEMA HAS CLOSED ITS DOORS

We are very grateful to those volunteers and attendees who helped Whetstone Co-operative Cinema get off to a great start since our first screening in 2023.

However, the logistical demands of staffing, sourcing media assets and maintaining facilities have proven rather challenging. While our aim was to increase screenings, the consistent level of volunteer support and attendance required to keep the cinema operational has become difficult to maintain.
